LibCal Software Systems Analysis

I collaborated in a team of four for a 4-month long project to conduct a qualitative user research study to understand and posit recommendations for improving the LibCal scheduling system that UNC librarians currently use to set up appointments to meet with students. Our team conducted contextual inquiry interviews with the staff as well as did UX testing on students in proposing a solution that better meets user needs.

Skills for this project: affinity diagramming, contextual inquiry, UX testing, strong communication and collaboration skills, analysis, contextual design, systems modeling, user research, data analysis, client recommendations, presenting, strong writing skills

This was the final report shared with the client as part of the graduate class Systems Analysis.
